The Immigrant Women Canada (IWC) website aims to help ease the stress of the immigration process while facilitating the integration process.   From the years 1998-2007 the number of immigrant women arriving in Canada totaled 1,167,737. There are numerous barriers facing immigrant women trying to integrate into Canadian society.  The lack of available online resources for immigrant women in Canada was surprising and it led to a collaboration of ideas and information. Our goal is to help women gain access to basic needs such as healthcare, education, housing, and jobs. We provides niche-oriented services that are tailored to satisfy the needs of immigrant women and their families.
